Cookie Policy
The cookies reasonpeak.com uses, why, and how to change your choices at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make the site work; others are optional and used only if you agree to them. This page explains both, and it pairs with the consent banner you saw on your first visit.
The cookies we use
We use two categories of cookies:
- Necessary: always on. They keep the site working, protect it from overload and remember your cookie choice; they can't be switched off.
- Statistics: off unless you allow them. With Google Analytics, they show us how the site is used, so that we can improve it. With your consent, we use approximate location data, including your city, to understand where our audience comes from, to improve the site's content and to measure how well our promotion works.
We do not use marketing or preference cookies.
The detailed list
The list below is generated by Cookiebot, our consent tool, from its monthly scan of the site, and it is updated automatically after each scan. The list shows the date Cookiebot last updated it; the date at the end of this page is when this policy last changed. It names each cookie, its provider, what it is for and how long it lasts, and it shows the choice you have made.
Managing your preferences
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with Cookie settings, here or at the bottom of every page. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies; if you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work as they should.
Services that set cookies
- Cloudflare (necessary). Our hosting provider's content delivery network, run by Cloudflare, sets one cookie on this site: _cfuvid. Cloudflare uses it only to tell apart visitors who share the same IP address, so that limits on the rate of requests can protect the site from overload. It is a session cookie with no expiry date. Your browser deletes it when the browsing session ends; if your browser restores your previous session, the cookie may be restored with it.
- Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics A/S (necessary). The CookieConsent cookie stores your choice and a random consent ID, so that the site can respect your choice on later visits. It keeps your choice for 12 months, unless your browser clears it sooner.
- Google (statistics, only with your consent). Google Analytics, which Google Tag Manager loads after you allow Statistics, sets _ga and a cookie whose name starts with _ga_, to recognize your browser across visits and sessions. They are initially set to expire 180 days after Google Analytics first sets them, which happens only after you allow Statistics cookies; for the cookie whose name starts with _ga_, this period restarts when Google Analytics updates it, and your browser may delete them sooner.
Withdrawing consent
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Open Cookie settings and choose Reject optional, or switch off Statistics and save your selection. Google Analytics then stops collecting data, its cookies are deleted from your browser and the page reloads once. The same applies to other tabs of this site open in the same browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out with your consent before you withdrew it. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and your rights.
Cookie consent is governed by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), which Poland implements in Articles 399 and 400 of its Electronic Communications Law, and by the GDPR's rules on consent (Article 7). In Poland, the President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) enforces the cookie rules, and the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) supervises the processing of personal data.
